PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup-shaped paper container substantially preventing formation of burnt deposit even when heated directly in a microwave oven.SOLUTION: A cup-shaped paper container has a body member which is formed by sealing a body seal part of a blank composed of a laminate having a paper layer and thermoplastic resin layers arranged both sides of the paper layer and whose upper part is expanded in a reverse circular truncated cone form and a bottom member formed by forming a laminate into a circle. The lower end of the body member is caught inward and curled. The peripheral edge of the bottom member is folded downward, caught inward and curled. The curled part of the bottom member is inserted into the curled part of the lower end of the body member, and the superimposed part of the curled parts is heat-sealed to form a bottom-caught-inward seal part so as to integrate the body member with the bottom member. A clearance is formed in the root of the bottom-caught-inward seal part between the lower part of the inner surface of the body member and the outer edge of the bottom member. |
