PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container in which the outer shape of a shell part is a unique shape changed from a simple cylindrical shape, and buckling strength is large.SOLUTION: In a metal container whose shell part 1 is cylindrically formed of a metal thin plate, an upper end part and a lower end part of the shell part 1 are cylindrical, and a prescribed region in the circumferential direction on a middle part of the shell part 1 is defined as a retraction part 7 retracted to the furthermore inside of the shell part than the outer peripheral cylindrical face of the upper end part or the lower end part, and the retraction part 7 includes a plurality of beads 9 projected toward the outside or the inside of the shell part by using as a reference surface, a convex surface projected toward the outside of the shell part 1 with a larger curvature radius than a curvature radius of the outer peripheral cylindrical face of the upper end part or the lower end part. |
