PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor control method which can easily update a facility information database and a skelton screen information database, and reduce a load on an operator.SOLUTION: A monitor control method allows an arithmetic processing part to achieve, in a monitor control device which includes: a communication part; and the arithmetic processing part and performs monitor control of an electric power system, a symbol information acquisition process for acquiring information about a symbol changed on a skelton screen of a client device through the communication part; a symbol correspondence determination process for determining an electric power system facility corresponding to the system by referring to a symbol correspondence database; a facility connection determination process for acquiring information about existing facilities from a facility information database and determining a connection state representing which facility is connected to the electric power system facility among the existing facilities on the basis of the information about the symbol and the information about the existing facilities; and a facility information database update process for writing the connection state determined in the facility connection determination process and updating the facility information database. |
