PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll discount device for discounting a toll for a vehicle which has traveled avoiding a congestion section on the basis of information from an electronic toll collection system.SOLUTION: The toll discount device includes: travel information storage means; section information storage means; traffic information storage means; and determination means. The travel information storage means receives and stores travel information having a travel section in which a vehicle has traveled on a toll road, travel time and the card number of an IC card inserted into an in-vehicle unit from an electronic toll collection system. The section information storage means stores section information having a reference section for specifying a section as a reference and a toll corresponding to a distance. The traffic information storage means stores traffic information having the reference section, the travel time and an average speed. The determination means calculates the toll after the discount when the discount of the toll is applied by referring to the stored information, and transmits the toll to the electronic toll collection system. |
