PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of diagnosing the degradation of a hose during a service operation.SOLUTION: In the hose diagnostic method, outer surface hardness Hm, outer surface temperature Tm, and internal pressure Pm of a resin-made hose 21 in which cooling liquid flows at a predetermined pressure are measured. The hose outer surface hardness Hm is corrected to a correction outer surface hardness Hc obtained at a predetermined outer surface temperature Tand internal pressure P. The correction outer surface hardness Hc is applied to the degradation characteristic indicating the relationship between the hose outer surface hardness and the use time at a reference temperature, and an estimation use time of the hose is calculated. The degradation of the hose can be diagnosed on the basis of the estimation use time and a limit use time of the hose. |
