PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict power generation capacity of PV systems.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a power generation capacity prediction apparatus includes; a weather condition prediction unit which derives a predicted weather condition value for each PV system by predicting weather condition at each PV system installation site from a system coefficient and power generation history data; a weather condition spatial correction unit which obtains a corrected weather condition value for each PV system by correcting the predicted weather condition value in accordance with an installed position of each PV system; a parameter learning unit which updates the system coefficient of each PV system based on the corrected weather condition value and the power generation history data; and a power generation prediction unit which predicts power generation capacity of each PV system based on reference weather data and the system coefficient.
