An orthodontic apparatus relates to medicine, namely to orthodontic stomatology and may be used for replacing the small defects of the dentition, class 3 according to Kenedy (in particular, the loss of the first or the second permanent molar) by mesialization of the adjacent teeth into the area of defect. The orthodontic apparatus for mesialization of the masticatory teeth consists of the frame comprising two orthodontic rings that are interconnected rigidly and intended for fixation on premolars and the third orthodontic ring for fixation on the second or third molar. The guide elements are inserted and fastened in occlusion plane with the orthodontic tubes clamped onto the orthodontic rings from the vestibular and lingual surfaces with the soldered hooks made of the orthodontic wire and intended for putting the strain members – mesializing springs and mini-implant for the alveolar bone. The frame is retained to the frame with the metal ligature. |
