摘要 The present invention relates to a production method of a metal catalyst for producing carbon nanotubes and a production method of the carbon nanotubes using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a production method of a metal catalyst for producing carbon nanotubes using a sedimentation and precipitation method including the following steps: a step of producing a carrier dispersing solution obtained by dispersing a solid carrier in a solvent; and a step of producing catalyst particles by adding a metal precursor salt solution and a pH adjusting solution into the dispersing solution to obtain mixed liquid, and absorbing metal oxide or metal hydroxide produced from the mixing process onto the surface of the solid carrier. The metal catalyst for producing the carbon nanotubes according to the present invention has high application rate of metal components, which are effective components of the catalyst, thereby improving the synthesis yield of the carbon nanotubes, reducing side effects, and allowing the synthesis of the carbon nanotubes with uniform shapes.
