The present invention relates to a level having a bar-shaped body and a level gauge installed at one side of the body to measure horizontal, vertical and inclined angles. The level gauge has a disc-shaped housing made of a transparent material having a desired thickness and filled with a liquid therein, a ball-shaped measuring member accommodated in the housing and floating in the housing by gravity or buoyancy in a state of being brought into close contact with the inner surface of the housing, and an indicator formed on one side of the outer surface of the housing to distinguish the horizontal, vertical and inclined angles of an object to be measured. Therefore, since the first and second measuring members are not supported by a separate member in the housing, it is possible to prevent a measurement error caused by the wearing of an engaged portion between the support member and the first and second measuring member. Also, since the first and second measuring members are not restrained by the separate support member in the housing, but are freely moved, it is possible to prevent the function of the lever from being lost due to a problem in that the support member is broken by the external impact possibly caused by carelessness of a user. Since the first measuring member moving up by the buoyancy and the second measuring member moving down by the gravity are provided in the housing, the measured value of the second measuring member disposed at the position different from the position of the first measuring member by 180 degrees is compared with the measured value of the first measuring member to perform further precise measurement. |
