PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath room apparatus capable of eliminating the need for a bathing caregiver to carry a pad, and thereby releasing the burden of the bathing caregiver, and also capable of securely holding a carereceiver's body whenever necessary during bathing and transportation and thereby safely performing the carereceiver's entering and leaving a bathtub.SOLUTION: A bath room apparatus comprises: a placing part 2 on which a carereceiver is placed; a movable mechanism which can cause outward sides of the placing part 2 to come over inward sides in a width direction; and a position maintaining mechanism which maintains the outward sides and the inward sides moved by the movable mechanism in position. In this configuration, the outward sides and the inward sides can be moved by the movable mechanism and maintained in position by the position maintaining mechanism, so that the carereceiver's body can be held easily. |
