PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device having an additive, which is a sealing device capable of adding automatically the additive, just before being used, to the content in a container where the sealing device is arranged.SOLUTION: Concerning a sealing device for a container 1, the sealing device stores an additive to be added to the content in the container 1 during first opening of the container 1. The sealing device includes a cap 2, an insert 4, and a lid 11 for covering a compartment 15 for receiving the additive. The compartment 15 is formed sectionally by a dome-type or conical center part 5 of the insert 4, an inside wall 14 of the cap 2 and the lid 11. When the cap 2 is twisted back, the inside wall 14 of the cap 2 is separated from sealed contact with the center part 5 of the insert 4 to give access to an opening 10 of the insert 4, and thereby the additive is added to the content in the container 1. |
