PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a method in which medicine is orally administered into the stomach of a rodent using a feeding needle by an operator.SOLUTION: At a first position where a bottom surface 1SB of a food basket 1 is in contact with an upper surface 2SU of a receiving basket 2, a rodent in a box body 8 can continue eating food 3. When a predetermined period of time passes, a lift 4 starts to rise in order to detach the bottom surface 1SB of the food basket 1 from the upper surface 2SU of the receiving basket 2, continues to rise to a second position where the animal cannot eat the food 3, and stops. Thereafter, the lift 4 is kept stopped, which prevents the animal from eating the food and then puts it into a hunger state that the stomach is empty. Then, when a predetermined period of time passes and every time a subsequent second time passes, pellet shaped administered medicines 15 in a holder 16 automatically drop onto a bottom surface 18IB and are set thereon. The hungry rodent voluntarily and safely eats up only the administered medicines 15. |
