PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contamination of an irregular sheet into discharge articles from a main conveyance path, while suppressing complication of the main conveyance path.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device 10 comprises: a main conveyance path 21; a sub-conveyance path 22; a double-feeding detection part 23; and a control part. When double feeding of a sheet is not detected, the control part conveys the sheet along the main conveyance path 21. When double feeding of a sheet is detected, the control part stops once conveyance of a subsequent sheet following the double-fed sheet, conveys the double-fed sheet along the sub-conveyance path 22, separates the double-fed sheet mutually, resumes conveyance of the subsequent sheet after returning a regular sheet in the double-fed sheet to the main conveyance path 21, and discharges an irregular sheet in the double-fed sheet to the outside from the sub-conveyance path 22. |
