PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which an identical failure occurs in failure detection for a microcontroller.SOLUTION: A microcontroller includes a CPU and a data access control circuit. The data access control circuit executes two types of accesses: an individual access in which a data access of the CPU is executed for each thread; and a shared access in which the data access of the CPU is executed by executing two threads. The data access control circuit performs failure detection in the CPU by comparing commands and addresses in the shared access respectively which are generated by executing the two threads.
