The method involves introducing recess (18) into a base plate (16) that is arranged opposite to a piezoelectric element (15) i.e. hollow cylindrical-shaped piezo ring. The base plate is placed on a die (17) of a press device (10). The piezo element is introduced into the recess by a stamper (13). A base plate surface (20) is pressed with a predetermined force in a direction of the die, where material of the base plate is arranged transverse to the die and arranged opposite to the piezo element.
