The present invention relates to a cooking pot that does not burn by installing a steam cooling device via cooling water on the lid of the cooking pot, cooling and liquefying the steam generated from the cooking pot to re-enter the cooking pot so that the water within the cooking pot is not reduced. The cooking pot is composed of: a cooking pot main body (1), a lid (2) installed over the main body (1), a cooling tub support (4) installed on the lid (2) to be connected to a steam discharging pipe (3), and a cooling tub (5) installed on the cooling tub support (4). A signal device for excess discharge of steam, which comprises a cover board (6) and a weight (7) installed downward on the cover board (6), is combined to the steam discharging pipe (3) so that the excess steam generation is alarmed when the steam generated due to over heating (excessive heating) is excessive; thus, the time for task performance such as reduction of the flame or replacement of cooling water can be easily identifiable. Furthermore, the upper board (6) is able to provide a pressure cooker function. |
