PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device configured to prevent a sensor from being heated by hot air in a fixing device, to improve image quality.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a device body 10 and a fixing device 100. The fixing device includes: a heat generator (halogen lamp 101); a second fixing member (pressure roller 120) which forms a fixing nip N1 with a first fixing member (heating roller 110); and a housing 130 which houses at least the heat generator and the first fixing member. The fixing device is mounted on the device body 10 in a first direction, and is separated in a second direction opposite the first direction. The image forming device also includes a transferred body (conveyance belt 73) for transferring developer and a sensor S for detecting the developer transferred on the transferred body. In the housing 130, a communication part (holes C1, C2 and a passage C3) is provided for connecting the inside and outside of the housing 130. Between the communication part and the sensor S, a film 140 for covering the sensor S is provided. |
