PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slag removal device for blast furnace equipment that is simple in device configuration and is capable of achieving easy and reliable slag removal and furthermore that can reduce the risks of pipe breakages and the like as much as possible, even in the case where pulverized coal without softening point adjustment is used.SOLUTION: A slag removal device for a blow-pipe, which is installed in a blow-pipe 30 for blowing supplementary fuel of pulverized coal 3 together with hot air 2 from the tuyere of a blast furnace main body producing pig iron from iron ore and in which the slag S of pulverized coal 3 comprises a constituent that fuses by hot air 2 and/or the combustion heat of pulverized coal 3, has an injection nozzle 80 for blowing solid 7 that has a fusion point higher than the temperature near the tuyere and that has a particle size larger than pulverized coal 3 into the pulverized coal 3 and hot air 2 flowing inside the blow-pipe 30, and the injection nozzle 80 supplies solid 7 and at the same time is provided with a solid supply system having an open/close control valve 89. |
