PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for producing liquid fuel from reformed gas generated by a steam-reforming reaction and efficiently generating power by effectively utilizing low temperature waste heat generated by the steam-reforming reaction.SOLUTION: Reformed gas is produced from hydrocarbon gas such as natural gas by a steam-reforming reaction in a steam reformer. Liquid fuel is produced by synthesizing the reformed gas into gasoline via methanol in a methanol synthetic column and a gasoline synthetic column. Unsaturated steam is produced, in a super heater 50, in a manner that a portion 51 of low pressure steam 26 produced by heat recovered from the reformed gas is overheated by a portion 53 of medium pressure steam 32 produced by the heat recovered from the methanol synthetic column or the gasoline synthetic column. Then, the unsaturated steam is supplied to a low pressure steam turbine 60.
