PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge girder which uses a post-tensioning system and in which the quantity of PC steel to be used can be suppressed, and a construction method of the bridge girder.SOLUTION: A bridge girder 3 is used for a multi-span bridge 1 including bridge piers 4 between a pair of bridge abutments 2 which are provided at both end sides in a bridge axial direction, and pre-stress concrete main girders each including an upper floor slab 312 and a web 313 extending downwards from the upper floor slab 312 are connected in the bridge axial direction. As the main girders, fulcrum upper girders 31 of which the central portions in the bridge axial direction are supported by bearings 41 on the bridge legs 4, and an intermediate girder 32 of which one end portion in the bridge axial direction is supported by the fulcrum upper girder 31 at one side and the other end portion is supported by the bridge abutment or the fulcrum upper girder 31 at the other side are provided. Regarding the fulcrum upper girder 31, a primary PC steel material 5a extending in the bridge axial direction is disposed in the upper floor slab 312 according to a pre-tensioning system. |
