PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet molding machine capable, even in a case where a resin having a high adhesiveness with a rubber roll is sheet of molded, of continuous sheet extrusion at a high speed without entailing the adhesion of the sheet to the side of a touch roll.SOLUTION: The provided sheet molding machine is a sheet molding machine comprising an extruder for extruding a molten thermoplastic resin, a die for molding, in the shape of a sheet, the molten resin extruded from the extruder, a rotatable cooling roll, and a touch roll axially supported rotatably while pressing the sheet onto the cooling roll; the surface of the touch roll is constituted by a metal or ceramic; the cooling roll is constituted by configuring, atop a roll core 5, a rubber layer 6 including an inorganic filler and by configuring, as a surface layer, a fluorinated resin layer 8 atop the rubber layer 6; a method for manufacturing a sheet including a step of molding a thermoplastic resin in the shape of a sheet by using this sheet molding machine is also provided. |
