PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment of a switch, which detects the operation of a fixing device, in an apparatus including the fixing device which fixes a car to a guide rail when a worker gets on the car and conducts work such as maintenance and inspection.SOLUTION: An engagement plate 9 having engagement holes 10 is provided at a desired position of a guide rail 2. An engagement shaft 16, which may move in a direction that the engagement shaft 16 engages with the engagement hole 10 and may rotate with the engagement shaft 16 movable direction set as an axis, is provided at the car 3. A guide piece 33 is provided at the engagement shaft 16 so as to move relative to the engagement shaft 16. Further, a guide hole 32, which inhibits the guide piece 33 from rotating around the axis of the engagement shaft 16 and allows the guide piece 33 to move in an axial direction, is provided at the car 3. Furthermore, a switch 40 which detects the axial movement of the guide piece 33 is provided. |
