PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device that can prevent the occurrence of a dark spot.SOLUTION: An organic EL display device includes a lamination part 80 on a substrate 10. In addition, a cavity part 90 is formed by rupture of a part of the lamination part 80 by screening processing. A protection film 70 is formed on the lamination part 80. The protection film 70 is formed to cover an entire wall surface 92 of the cavity part 90. Therefore, air existing in an inner space 91 of the cavity part 90 does not touch an organic layer 50 forming the cavity part 90. Thus, moisture included in the air in the inner space 91 is prevented from being absorbed by the organic layer 50. In addition, because moisture is not absorbed by the organic layer 50, it can prevent part of the organic layer 50 from becoming a dark spot. Furthermore, it can prevent re-short circuiting of an open defect. |
