PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusion splicing machine capable of achieving the shortening of the work time and improved workability of the fusion splicing of an optical fiber.SOLUTION: An optical fiber fusion splicing machine includes; a wiring material wrapping part 61a disposed so as to be integrated with a windshield cover 60 opening/closing in a rotating manner on the same axis as the windshield cover 60; and a closed loop member 2 wound on the wiring material wrapping part 61a and a wiring material winding part 5 disposed so as to be isolated from the wiring material wrapping part 61a, therein the windshield cover can be opened and closed by rotating the closed loop member 2 with the driving force of an electrically-driven driving source. |
