PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical thermometer that is suitable for a measurement of a body temperature in which an armpit is used as a measurement part.SOLUTION: An electronic clinical thermometer 100 comprises: a measurement part 120 in which a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature is built at the tip; and a main body part 110 in which a circuit for calculating a temperature of a detected person on the basis of a temperature detected by the temperature sensor is built. The main body 110 includes: a jointing part 115 that rotatably joints the measurement part 120; and a rotating mechanism for rotating the measurement part 120 between a standard position almost in parallel with respect to a direction of a longitudinal axis of the main body 110 and a measurement position forming a predetermined angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the main body 110. |
