A method for application a protective and decorative coating on an elongated workpiece includes transportation of the workpiece to the sputtering station, creating a vacuum in the chamber of the sputtering station, maintaining the workpiece near the sputtering station, coating application with thermal, electron beam, arc or magnetron evaporator, gas inflow into the space between the workpiece and the chamber. The mutual rotation of the workpiece body and the sprayer is provided. The angular rate of mutual rotation is reduced at the moment when the respective face of the workpiece is faced to the sprayer. |
