INSTRUMENT FOR MOVING APART AND SEWING EDGES OF WOUND

摘要

An instrument for moving apart and sewing the edges of the wound contains the handle and the operating surface flexed at the right angle. The operating surface is divided by the slit. The edges of the operating surface are made with recesses for holding the ligatures in horizontal position of the stitches. When the wound is sutured vertically, the recesses are the reference points for needle entry-exit.
