The frame (30) has a drive plate (35), two carrier plates (32a, 32b) and a drive unit (34) for forward and backward movement of blow molding parts (31a, 31b). The drive unit has a motor for producing rotating movement of a drive shaft (34b). Guides (37) are arranged on a base frame, where the drive plate and the carrier plates are connected with guiding elements that are arranged on the guides in a movable manner. The drive unit is fastened to the drive plate, and a crank gear connects the drive shaft with one of the carrier plates in an articulated manner. An independent claim is also included for a blow molding machine.
