<p>PURPOSE: A light emitting device with multiple cells and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify a manufacturing process of a lamp by electrically connecting multiple light emitting cells in a wafer level. CONSTITUTION: Multiple vertical light emitting cells (100) are placed on a conductive substrate (10). An insulating layer is placed between the conductive substrate and the vertical light emitting cell. A conductive line (50) electrically connects the multiple vertical light emitting cells. Each of the vertical light emitting cells includes a P-GaN layer, an active layer, an N-GaN layer, and a SiC substrate laminated in order. An electrode pad (20,40) is formed on the vertical light emitting cells.</p> |
