PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-handle electric connector of simple structure in which a shield body can be held so as not to come into contact with a terminal, and to provide an assembly thereof.SOLUTION: An electric connector is disposed on the surface of a circuit board, and connected with solder to the circuit board at the solder joint of a terminal located on the mounting surface side of housing with respect to the circuit board. A tubular or a cover-like conductive shield body can be disposed to cover the housing between the circuit board. Conductive shield bases 40;80 are attached to the outer surface of the housings 11;51, and the shield bases includes attached parts 41;81 which are attached to the housing on the outside of terminal arrangement range in the terminal arrangement direction, solder grounds 42;82 being grounded to the circuit board with solder, and holding parts 43;83 which can hold the shield body with contact pressure against the shield body 90. |
