PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-accurate remaining life assessment method of a stationary induction apparatus.SOLUTION: In a stationary induction apparatus, an iron core, a coil which is attached to the iron core and which is made of an electric wire wounded with insulating paper, an insulator for insulating the coil, and an insulator forming a cooling passage of an insulating/cooling medium are immersed in the insulating/cooling medium in a transformer body. A remaining life of the stationary induction apparatus is assessed by analyzing a decomposition product derived from lignin (phenylpropanoid), which is a component of the insulating paper. |
