PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic master cylinder which is low-cost and can securely fit a fitting bolt to a vehicle body fitting bracket.SOLUTION: A vehicle body fitting bracket 9 is formed on a cylinder body 3, a fitting bolt 10 is fixed to the vehicle body fitting bracket 9, and the cylinder body 3 is fitted to a vehicle body through the vehicle body fitting bracket 9 using the fitting bolt 10. The fitting bolt 10 has a rotation-stop head 10b and a fall-stopping flange 10c at top of a male screw part 10a, the vehicle body fitting bracket 10 has a rotation-stop head insertion hole 9a into which the rotation-stop head 10b is inserted and a flange housing recessed part 9b in which the fall-stopping flange 10c is housed. While the rotation-stop head 10b is inserted into the rotation-stop head insertion hole 9a and the fall-stopping flange 10c is housed in the flange housing recessed part 9b, an opening side of the flange housing recessed part 9b is projected toward the fall-stopping flange 10c so as to form a fall-stop part 9c for the fitting bolt 10. |
