PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant base oil that can satisfy a viscosity-temperature characteristic and a low temperature viscosity characteristic by a high level and with good balance, and a production method of the same; and a lubricant composition that includes the lubricant base oil.SOLUTION: A lubricant base oil is that a urea adduct value is at most 7 mass%, a viscosity index is at least 100, and a content of a saturation component is at least 90 mass% based on the total amount of a lubricant base oil. Moreover, a production method of a lubricant base oil includes a process in which hydrocracking is performed for raw oil including normal paraffin so that a urea adduct value of a processed product may be at most 7 mass%, a viscosity index may be at least 100, and a content of a saturation component may be at least 90 mass% based on the total amount of a lubricant base oil. Moreover, a lubricant composition includes the lubricant base oil.
