A power source device comprises: an identification unit for identifying a battery module; a first switching unit for turning on a first switch corresponding to an identified battery module and turning off the other first switches corresponding to the other battery modules when supplying electric power to a part of a load; a second switching unit for turning on a first switch corresponding to a second battery module and turning off another first switch corresponding to a first battery module; and an acquisition unit for acquiring an open circuit voltage for each battery in the second battery module which does not supply electric power to a part of the load.
