摘要 <p>A touch detection device (11) is provided with an electrostatic capacity detection unit (12) that detects the electrostatic capacity of touch sensors (16a-16j), and a touch determination device (15) that determines whether a touch sensor was touched. The touch determination device finds the amount of change in the electrostatic capacity, obtains a maximum electrostatic capacity for a maximum amount of change, and determines whether the difference between the maximum electrostatic capacity and a reference value exceeds a first determination value. In a case where the difference exceeds the first determination value, the touch determination device obtains a minimum electrostatic capacity for a minimum amount of change and also obtains an intermediate electrostatic capacity for an amount of change that is the (n+1) largest. In a case where a first condition, wherein the difference between the maximum electrostatic capacity and the intermediate electrostatic capacity exceeds a second determination value, and a second condition, wherein the difference between the intermediate electrostatic capacity and the minimum electrostatic capacity is less than a third determination value, are both satisfied, the touch sensor with the maximum amount of change is determined to have been touched. In a case where the first condition and/or the second condition is not satisfied, the change in electrostatic capacity is determined to be due to noise.</p>
