<p>An endoscope system (1) is provided with: a light source (3) that emits illumination light; an imaging element (45) that captures an image formed by an objective optical system (40); a light adjustment device (50) comprising a drive unit (70) that drives an adjustment member for adjusting the light amount, wavelength bandwidth, or focus position of imaging light so that said adjustment member is inserted into and removed from the objective optical system (40); and a control unit (21) that controls the driving of the light adjustment device (50) in conjunction with the switching of the spectrum of the illumination light from the light source (3) so that the adjustment member is inserted into and removed from an imaging optical path.</p> |
