The embodiments also relate to human monoclonal antibodies directed against deletion mutants of epidermal growth factor and particularly to EGFRvIII. The embodiments also relate to variants of such antibodies. Diagnostic and therapeutic formulations of such antibodies, and immunoconjugates thereof, are also provided.
