PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing technique which enables recovery printing even when an image forming device has small storage capacity.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: reception means which receives image data via an interface; printing means which prints image data on a sheet; request means which requests transmission of image data; deletion means which deletes the image data received by the reception means; detection means which detects occurrence of a paper jam; and control means. When a paper jam occurs, the control means controls the deletion means to delete image data that succeeds image data printed on the sheet in the paper jam, controls the request means to request recovery data for the image data of the sheet on which printing is not completely performed due to occurrence of the paper jam and receives the recovery data, then controls the printing means to print again the received image data to perform recovery printing. |
