PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical exhaust pipe joint which allows a relative angle displacement and relative rotation displacement, as well as a relative displacement in the axial direction and a relative displacement in the shear direction between an upstream side exhaust pipe and a downstream side exhaust pipe due to vibrations based on acceleration and deceleration of an automobile, and rotations of an engine or the like, moreover, can be made compact and can secure the degree of freedom of mounting position with respect to an exhaust system.SOLUTION: A spherical exhaust pipe joint 1 includes: an annular convex spherical body 7 having a convex spherical surface 6 fixed to a pipe end part 3 of an upstream side exhaust pipe 2; an annular ring-shape seal body 9 having a concave spherical surface 8 which comes to freely sliding contact with the convex spherical surface 6 of the convex spherical body 7; elastic biasing means 10 which elastically biases the ring-shape seal body 9; and a tubular member 12 having a flexibility which shields an internal part 11 of the upstream side exhaust pipe 2 and a downstream side exhaust pipe 5 from the outer air. |
