The method involves connecting a water-impermeable full wall-pipe section (3) between two filter pipe sections (1,2). A water-impermeable base layer (S) separating two overlapping aquifers (A1,A2) is placed, and ground water is conveyed from one of the filter pipe sections by a water pump (4). A water-permeable connection of the filter pipe sections with each other is disconnected by a shut-off device. The shut-off device is actuated for opening the connection, if a predetermined conveying capacity is exceeded or a predetermined distinction between the hydro-static pressure in two filter pipe sections is exceeded by a predetermined height of the water level (L) of the bore well. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a water conveyor for a bore well, particularly for executing the ground water conveying method; and (2) a shut-off valve for a water conveyor.
