FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tannery and can be used for production of leather from fish skin. Proposed method comprises processing by organic tanning agent over surfactant. The organic tanning agent represents a compound based on the products of condensation of propylene carbonate, formaldehyde and monoethanolamine and used in amount of 6.0-7.8 wt % of skin weight. Said surfactant represents a water-organic compound based on nonionic surfactants, organic solvent and auxiliary admixtures used in amount of 0.25-0.45 wt % of skin weight. Processing is performed for 6-8 hours.
