PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress cracking of an insulation coating.SOLUTION: There is provided a stator having respective segment coils fitted in respective slots of a stator core. Each segment coil is formed by inserting a conductor segment 30, formed of a coated conductor 31 having a conductor body 35 coated with a coating 36 as an insulation member in a substantially U-shape shape, into each slot, bending a part of the coated conductor 31 projecting from the slot so that the coated conductor 31 forms a predetermined coil and then projecting the part in a longitudinal direction from an end face 38 of each coating 36 of the coated conductor 31, and gathering and welding together tip conductors 32, 33 thinner than the conductor body 35, respective corners of the end face 38 of each coating 36 on a bending outer peripheral side of the coated conductor 31 being cut into a beveled part 40. |
