PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of formaldehyde containing drainage water, which can efficiently treat formaldehyde containing drainage water even though the drainage water contains a low concentration of formaldehyde.SOLUTION: The treatment method of the formaldehyde containing drainage water comprises: a biological filtration step of biologically treating the formaldehyde containing drainage water in a biological filtration apparatus 12; and a filtration step of filtering the biologically filtrated water that is biologically treated in the biological filtration step in a filtration apparatus 16.
