The present application relates to a lighting device (1) comprising a main body (2) having an inner surface (3) and an outer surface (4). The inner surface (3) at least in part forming a section (12) for receiving a light source. The outer surface (4) having a first thread (8) along at least part of said outer surface (4), wherein said first thread (8) is for directly or indirectly securing the lighting device (1) in a building part.
