TECHNIQUE FOR OPEN RHINOPLASTY FOR CORRECTING CONCAVE LATERAL CRUS OF LARGE ALAR CARTILAGE

A technique for the open rhinoplasty for correcting the concave lateral crus of the large alar cartilage comprises tailoring autograft from cephalic portion of the lateral crus of the large alar cartilage. The vascular peduncle of the graft is tailored from the superficial muscular-aponeurotic layer of the nose with the branches of the lateral nasal artery (a. lateralis nasi).
