The invention relates to means for producing hollow products such as plastic containers for liquids, mainly PET bottles, namely it concerns a heater of preforms and is intended for use in lines for making containers by blowing with drawing. A preform heater has a heating chamber, loading and unloading positions and a closed mobile loop. The mobile loop is made in the form of a disk with externally placed radial slots for the preforms. The disk is mounted on a shaft. Above the disk along a circle holding guides are located for fastening the preforms. Under the disk from inner and outer sides on the path of movement of preforms the heaters are placed in a circle. Such design of the device allows simplifying its construction, reduce the size and eliminate the dynamic loads on the elements of the device and, as a consequence, increase the reliability of its operation. |
