A method for preventing the perinatal transmission of B19 parvovirus from mother to fetus comprises etiotropic antiviral therapy and prophylaxis within the framework of the pregnancy care program. The pregnant patients with verified infection with B19 parvovirus are provided with the home-made composition Proteflazid since the 12th gestation week according to the following schedule: 5 drops thrice a day for the first three days with increment to 7 drops thrice a day for the next three days, then – 8 drops for the next three days, and since the tenth day – 10 drops thrice a day for a month. If the markers of the in utero infection persist, the composition is taken at a dose of 10 drops twice a day for two months in the complex with the conventional therapy. |
