The present invention relates to a fuel tank for gas fuel vehicles and a fuel charging method thereof. The fuel tank comprises: a cylinder (10) which is a high pressure vessel made of steel to protect gas fuel stored therein from impact or vibration; a charging valve (20) mounted outside the cylinder (10) to charge gas fuel through a fuel inlet (22); a multi valve (30) which inhales and discharges the gas fuel charged in the cylinder (10); and a fuel supplying means (40) connected to a front end of a suction pipe (32) connected with the multi valve (30) and to a front end of a charging pipe (23) connected with the charging valve (20) in order to directly supply the gas fuel of a liquid phase charged in the cylinder (10) to the suction pipe (32). By the fuel tank and the fuel charging method thereof, some of the gas fuel by the fuel supplying means mounted at the front end of the charging pipe is directly supplied to the suction pipe, so as to prevent cavitation by the gas-phase fuel charged in the suction pipe. |
