PURPOSE: A transformed silkworm which expresses Epinephelus septemfasciatus growth hormone used as a feed additive is provided to shorten breeding period by promoting direct growth in Epinephelus septemfasciatus farming and to enhance immunity and survival rate. CONSTITUTION: An Epinephelus septemfasciatus growth hormone expression vector and an Escherichia coli DH5/pFpL-SepGH (accession number KCTC 12143BP) is provided. A method for producing transformed silkworms which express Epinephelus septemfasciatus growth hormone comprises the steps of: preparing the expression vector; transducing the expression vector to the testis and ovary of the pupae by electroporation; crossbreeding the transformed pupae and artificially hatching the eggs; crossbreeding artificially hatched imagoes (moth) and producing eggs; isolating the genome DNA from the imagoes and selecting transformed imagoes through PCR; and artificially hatching eggs from the selected imagoes.
