The high-pressure fuel pump has a pump piston (16) that is movably connected to a pump cylinder (15). The pump piston is connected with a cam (9) of a cam shaft (7) through a roller shaft (13). A pump main portion and the roller shaft are partially arranged in a pump housing portion. The cam shaft is driven by an internal combustion engine. An oil pump or a vacuum pump located adjacent to the high pressure pump main portion is driven by the cam shaft.
